Terms of Service

Terms for creating AI Halloween costume videos

Last updated:

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of I’m Sorry I Lied at imsorryilied.org. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

I’m Sorry I Lied uses Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for activity under your I’m Sorry I Lied account. You must provide accurate information and may not use another person's account without permission.

AI Video Generation

I’m Sorry I Lied lets users generate AI videos from uploaded photos. You are responsible for the photos, instructions, and other content you provide. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use any source material.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, unexpected, similar to other content, or unsuitable for a specific use. You are responsible for reviewing generated videos before publishing, selling, distributing, or relying on them.

Video Packs and Credits

Each paid video uses 10 credits. Single includes one video and Duo includes two. The price and any applicable taxes are shown before purchase. Purchased credits do not expire. A separate free image trial, if offered, does not apply to videos.

Credits are digital service units for use on I’m Sorry I Lied. They have no cash value, are not a stored-value product, and cannot be transferred unless we explicitly allow it.

Payments and Refunds

Checkout is processed by Stripe. You agree to the one-time price and any applicable taxes shown at checkout.

If a verified technical or security problem prevents us from delivering your purchase and we cannot fix it, you may request a refund. We also provide refunds when required by applicable law.

A completed video may look different from your photo or expectations. We do not offer cash refunds solely for differences in likeness or style, a change of mind, an incorrect photo or costume description, unused credits, or credits used for a successful video, unless applicable law requires one. Credits returned after a failed generation are not a cash refund.

Acceptable Use

You may not use I’m Sorry I Lied to:

  • Break the law or violate another person's rights.
  • Create, upload, or distribute content involving sexual exploitation of minors.
  • Impersonate people or mislead others in harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive ways.
  • Generate malware, phishing content, scams, or instructions for wrongdoing.
  • Harass, threaten, or target people or protected groups.
  • Upload private, confidential, or copyrighted material without the required rights.
  • Interfere with, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass limits of the service.

We may block prompts, remove content, suspend accounts, or limit access when we believe the service is being misused.

Ownership and License

You retain rights you have in prompts, uploads, and outputs, subject to these Terms and applicable law. You grant I’m Sorry I Lied the rights needed to process, store, display, transmit, and troubleshoot your prompts, uploads, and outputs so we can provide the service.

You are responsible for determining whether you can use an output commercially or publicly, including whether rights, releases, licenses, or disclosures are needed.

Service Availability

I’m Sorry I Lied is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, pricing, credit costs, providers, or availability at any time.
